I started in the beauty and wellness industry in high school and never left. I trained as a senior cosmetologist and esthetician, added certifications in healthcare, and then became interested in the mental and emotional side of wellness — so I went to the University of Maryland, College Park and earned my degree in psychology. That combination became Cater Wellness, where we care for the whole person, not just the body.

I opened Cater Wellness Academy because a certificate isn't a business. People need to actually do the work, with their hands, on real people, with someone correcting them — and they need to know what to charge and how to talk to a client once they're on their own. That's what we teach. You will leave able to perform the treatment yourself, know why each step matters, and speak to a client honestly about what to expect.
